How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Your financial support for Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village can be directed to meeting your specific philanthropic goals, including support directed toward the following programs and services:
Resident Benevolent Support
Some Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village residents, who have lived long and caring lives, now find themselves without the financial resources to pay for the care we provide. This support helps to ensure they will continue to live their years in a caring, quality environment.
General Operating Support
This program supports the daily operating needs of Fahrney-Keedy.
Current & Future Growth Opportunity Support
This program supports future expansion projects at Fahrney-Keedy, including, but not limited to, expanding the rehabilitation center, implementation of a nature walking trail and the addition of single-family homes.
Planned Giving Support
The correct plan for you balances what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family, and your charitable interests in your overall estate and financial plans.
Ways to Donate
- Outright Gifts: Gifts that can provide an immediate impact to Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village (e.g., cash, marketable securities, real estate, personal (tangible) property).
- Insurance: Life insurance can be assigned, naming Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village the policy owner and irrevocable beneficiary.
- Retirement Accounts: A variety of types of retirement accounts can be assigned, naming Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village the beneficiary or contingent beneficiary.
- Bequest: Gifts through bequests can be given as a designated amount or as a percentage of the estate. A bequest can be made through a trust or a will and you can stipulate whether the bequest is for general support or for a specific purpose. As a bequest donor, you will automatically become a member of the Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village Legacy Society.

- Life Estate: The donor makes an irrevocable gift of real estate and retains the right to continue living in the property for life, after which the property is transferred to Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village.
- Pooled Income Fund: This fund includes gifts from several donors. The investment dollars are transferred from the fund to Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village upon death of the beneficiary.
